I’m nervous about my session — is that normal?
Yes, completely normal! Almost everyone feels a little nervous at first, especially for boudoir sessions. Once you arrive, enjoy your hair & makeup, and settle into the flow of the session, those nerves quickly fade. My goal is to create a safe, relaxed, and empowering space where you can feel at ease and truly enjoy the experience.
What should I wear for my session?
Boudoir: Bring lingerie you love, plus coverups (robes, shirts, or silk wraps). You’re also welcome to use select pieces from the studio wardrobe.
Empowered Portraits: Elegant dresses, accessories, or outfits that capture your femininity.
Personal Branding: Outfits that reflect your professional image — from sleek business attire to approachable, creative looks.
We’ll go over wardrobe choices in a consultation before your session, so you arrive fully prepared.
Do I need to sign a model release?
Yes, I ask all clients to sign a model release. However, you are free to request “private use only” — meaning none of your images will ever be shared publicly.
How much does a portrait session cost?
A non-refundable booking fee is included within each portrait package and secures your session date. This fee also covers your pre-session consultation, studio time, and a tailored preparation guide.
Empowered Portraits: £149
Personal Branding: £149
Boudoir: £199 (includes additional studio preparation and wardrobe support)
Your remaining balance, depending on the package you select, is due on the day of your Viewing & Ordering Appointment. Full payment must be made before any images are delivered or print products are ordered.
Hair & Makeup services are available at an additional fee, paid directly to the HMUA.
Portrait FAQs
How long does a portrait session last?
Most sessions take between 2–3 hours of shooting time, with additional time if you book hair and makeup. From start to finish (HMUA + photography + breaks), expect about 4 hours total for boudoir and empowered sessions. Personal Branding sessions are typically shorter, around 1.5–2.5 hours depending on the package.
Do you provide professional hair and makeup?
Yes — professional hair & makeup (HMUA) is highly recommended for both boudoir and empowered portraits, and optional for branding. This service helps you feel polished, confident, and camera-ready from the start.
Please note: HMUA fees are paid directly to the artist and are separate from your session fee or package. (unless specified)
How do I view and order my photographs?
We’ll meet for a private Reveal & Ordering Session about 7–10 days after your shoot. You’ll view your portraits on screen, choose your favorites, and select the products you’d like to order (wall art, folio boxes, or digital images).
How do I pay for my session?
The booking fee is due at the time of reservation. Final payment for your chosen package must be completed before delivery of images or products.
Do you help with posing?
Absolutely. You don’t need any experience in front of the camera — that’s my job! I’ll guide you through flattering poses, expressions, and angles so you feel confident and look your best throughout the shoot.
Will my images remain private?
Yes, always. Your privacy is my highest priority. Your portraits will never be shared without your written permission. If you prefer your images to remain completely private, they will be kept securely and used only for your personal order.
Do you offer digital images?
Yes. Every purchased portrait is provided as both a high-resolution digital file and a print option (folio box, wall art, or album, depending on your package). If you prefer digital-only, that’s also available.

Yes! Bridal boudoir is the perfect gift for your partner (and yourself). It’s a beautiful way to celebrate your body, your femininity, and this exciting chapter of your life.

How do I prepare for a boudoir session?
Boudoir is about celebrating you. I recommend:
Pampering yourself the day before (spa, nails, hair).
Bringing lingerie that makes you feel sexy and confident.
Bringing any sentimental items (jewelry, perfume, even your partner’s shirt).
Arriving with clean, dry hair and a fresh face if booking HMUA.
Don’t worry — we’ll review all preparation steps during your consultation.
Will you retouch my photos?
Yes, every image is professionally retouched to enhance your natural beauty while maintaining authenticity. My approach is subtle and elegant — you’ll still look like yourself, just your most confident self.
