BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Introduction
Please read these Booking Terms of Use carefully. By booking with Angelique Portrait Photography, you agree to be bound by these terms and all policies outlined herein. If you have any questions, please contact the photographer before booking. A clear understanding ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience.
In these terms:
“The photographer” refers to Angelika Bergerioux trading as Angelique Portrait Photography LTD.
“The client(s)” refers to the individual(s) or company listed on the booking form/invoice.
1. COPYRIGHT – DISPLAY
All photographic materials, including digital files, negatives, proofs, previews, and transparencies, remain the exclusive property of the photographer. The photographer retains copyright ownership and exclusive rights to reproduce the images. The photographer may reproduce or display images for portfolio use, website, social media, self-promotion, advertising, competitions, or any other lawful publication.
2. CLIENT USAGE – PRINT RELEASE
Clients are granted usage rights for personal and promotional purposes only, including:
Uploading to personal or company websites (or representatives’ sites)
Submission for work or representation opportunities
Uploading to social media or industry-specific platforms (Backstage, Spotlight, IMDb, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
Event promotion and displays
For editorial publication, clients should credit the photographer adjacent to images (e.g., © Angelique Portrait Photography). The client is not liable if a publication omits the credit.
A print release is included, permitting personal and promotional printing. Commercial use or sale of images by the client or third parties requires written consent from the photographer.
3. STUDIO HOURS
Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: By appointment only
Sunday: Closed
All sessions are by appointment only; walk-ins are not accepted.
4. PAYMENTS
A non-refundable session fee is required to secure all bookings.
Booking constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
Additional services (e.g., graphic design for marketing materials) must be paid in full at the time of ordering.
5. SCHEDULING
Sessions are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tentative date/time holds are valid for 24 hours only.
Permanent holds require a deposit/payment for the booking.
6. RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS
Requests to reschedule must be made at least 2 days prior to the session to avoid forfeiture of payment.
Late rescheduling may incur a rescheduling fee to avoid loss of fees.
Cancellations result in forfeiture of any payments made.
7. WEATHER POLICY
Outdoor sessions may be postponed due to weather conditions.
The photographer will propose alternative dates, and previously paid fees will be valid for the rearranged session.
Some sessions may need to be conducted indoors; the photographer will make reasonable efforts to meet client requirements.
The photographer is not liable for limitations caused by indoor shooting restrictions.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
If the photographer cannot conduct a session due to causes beyond reasonable control (e.g., illness, injury, crime, flooding), she will attempt to reschedule or arrange an alternative option.
Liability in the event of cancellation or total photographic failure is limited to a full refund of fees paid.
9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These terms constitute the entire agreement between the client and photographer.
Any modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties.
